From 20 to 24 March 2025, a three-day hands-on workshop on forest fire monitoring and management using Earth Observation and Artificial Intelligence was successfully held at the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence. The workshop was organized by the Università di Roma Tor Vergata. Participants explored key techniques including feature extraction, feature selection, and fuel map development. Special thanks to the trainers Giorgia Guerrisi, Ilaria Petracca, Davide De Santis, and Lorenzo Giuliano Papale, and to Prof. Fabio Del Frate for his excellent coordination.
